Designed exclusively for our Mumbai & Delhi Academies, our New Industry Ready course is one of the world’s most detailed and extensive professional makeup and hair courses. Our New Industry Ready course covers 6-months academy class learning, followed by an additional 6 months career development including on set learning, assisting existing senior academy artists. This course provides students priority placements on academy assignments, which have included Supermodel of The Year, Lakme Fashion Week, FDCI Couture Week with Manish Malhotra and movies such as The Sky Is Pink.

Part 1 | Makeup Programme

12 Full Academy Days with Daniel Bauer

Makeup development is at the heart of the this course and our academy. Great makeup artists have speed, accuracy and detail; 3 core skills which can only evolve over time and with continued practice.

Months 1 to 3	Development of students’ core skin work. Starting from the basics of face shaping and foundation shading to contouring and progressing to advanced complexion and skin techniques.
Months 2 to 3	Particular emphasis on beauty enhancing, covering lip shaping and shading, eye shaping and contouring, with faux lashes and all application techniques
Months 4 to 6	One of the most important parts of our course, and most exciting, here we teach advanced beauty makeup for, skin, eyes, lips.

Part 2 | Hair Programme

6 Full Academy Days with Placid Braganza

Hair skills are vital for the success of any artist. There are principally 3 jobs an artist can be hired for; makeup only, hair only and both makeup and hair. Having skill in both, means you can do it all, doubling your earning potential.

Months 1 to 2	Basics are not basic, but the most important part of learning any new skill. Here we prepare students for their future hair career with in-depth training on products and heat styling tools and hair prep techniques
Months 3 to 4	With a firm grasp of tools, we advance forward with updo hair styles, braids and with a full day dedicated to bridal hair (all functions)
Months 5 to 6	The two remaining months are dedicated to elevating your hair game to high fashion and runway hair styles for use in our student’s portfolio shoots

Part 3 | Marketing & Business Programme

Ongoing Career & Artist Development

Being a successful artist in 2021 means far more than just being good at makeup and hair. Artists today, need to know the industry, how it works and how to break into it. This course will equip each student with the skills and contact and knowledge to quickly establish themselves.
