FDCI ICW 2021 Manish Malhotra Opening Show by the best makeup course in Delhi

This year, the Daniel Bauer Academy couldn’t be happier because we got this amazing opportunity to be a part of Manish Malhotra’s FDCI opening show. He’s everyone’s dream! We have been constantly regarded as the best makeup course in Delhi because of the kind of on field exposure our students get, quite literally.

FDCI (Fashion Design Council of India) is back with their second edition of ICW (Indian Couture Week) 2021 and we’re so proud of all our Daniel Bauer Academy students for acing Manish Malhotra’s latest bridal edit ‘Nooraniyat’. It only keeps getting better, we also got to work with the best makeup products from Manish Malhotra Beauty. The outfits, Manish Malhotra jewellery, makeup products felt like every makeup artist’s Disneyland.

Nooraniyat is an Urdu word and it means luminescence, which rightly describes everything about these one-of-a-kind designs by Manish Malhotra. Under the guidance of the Daniel Bauer Academy’s lead trainer Simone Chakraborty, students created some of the most ethereal and dreamy makeup looks for the show. Even though the way we do fashion shows has now changed, but all the backstage adrenaline rush doesn’t change a bit.

The chairman of FDCI Sunil Sethi said it very well that couture is the finest form of expression as it reveals the brand narrative, immaculate construction and design ideology in its truest element. When students come to the Daniel Bauer Academy, they know they’re getting into a makeup school that will not only give them the best education ever possible, but also give then an exposure which can be treasured for life.

We have the best makeup course in Delhi because our students get to work with some of the finest outfits, beautiful models, and the most stunning jewellery of the country, and sometimes this happens before they even finish the course. Students are groomed and trained so well at every stage of the course that they get selected for their talent and potential even before they reach the end of the course. This opening show at ICW 2021 was a hit, all thanks to our amazing students from Delhi and north India, you did us proud.

Words can’t describe how honoured we are to have worked with Manish Malhotra and his team on this very special project. Manish himself was extremely supportive and in awe of our work which gave our students so much boost in confidence. The beautiful Leela Palace, the most amazing team of creatives, and every bit of this experience will always be cherished.
