Daniel Bauer Academy for the stunning Manish Malhotra

Daniel Bauer Academy students did yet another amazing fashion show for Manish Malhotra and we’re elated to collaborate for this cause.

Shabana Azmi’s Mijwan Welfare Society is celebrating it’s 10-year anniversary of their work towards empowering women artisans’ community. In commemoration of this milestone, Manish Malhotra curated a special couture collection inspired by the exquisite craft of Chikankari.

Students of the Daniel Bauer Academy lead the makeup and hair team for this beautiful fashion show at the Jio convention centre, Mumbai. Yes, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were the showstoppers at this one!

This project was mainly handled by the students of Daniel Bauer academy Bangalore and Mumbai while all the Daniel Bauer Academy students were busy at the FDCI India Couture Week 2022. These last few days were everything thrilling, exciting, hectic and everything in between. Being called the best makeup and hair academy in india definitely doesn’t come easy…

For the makeup looks of all the models, our students really did unleash their glamorous selves backstage. From beautiful winged liners, to gold-copper eye lids, to sultry kohl smokey eyes, they did it all and satisfied their creative souls. This fashion show was also followed by two days of campaign shoots for the collection and the madness just continued.

This Manish Malhotra collection was so full of fine embroidered detailing. For the model’s hairstyles, we went for really delicate braided buns, and beautifully created different updos. Everyone looked so pretty!

Daniel Bauer academy team also managed to do makeup and hair for the designer, Manish Malhotra himself, and were super excited about that.

Our students managed to pull off a tough one this time, all by themselves, and this really made us smile from ear to ear. They all outdid themselves with this fashion show with Manish Malhotra and the Mijwan Welfare.

The fashion show was attended by several A-listers including Vidya Balan, Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Nora Fatehi, and others.
